Releasing his first CD on the Fat Possum label in 1996, Lil’ Dave is probably best known for his touring work with Blues Legends R.L. Burnside, Junior Kimbrough and Booba Barnes. Perhaps the most dynamic and authentic blues guitarist under the age of 40 in the blues world today, Lil’ Dave Thompson’s Mississippi Blues Roots run deep. Signed to Toronto’s Electro-Fi label, Lil’ Dave’s 2006 CD “Got To Get Over You” garnered rave reviews.
