David Rotundo
David Rotundo bought his first harmonica in 1991 after seeing James Cotton at the El Mocombo and has been deep in the blues ever since. This passion for the music led David to travel through the U.S. spending time in Blues epicenters like Chicago, Memphis, Austin, New Orleans and Clarksdale, Mississippi. Back home in Toronto he formed the Blue Canadians in 1997 and went on to play with Jack de Keyzer, Ronnie Hawkins and Willie “Big Eyes” Smith. As well as releasing two well received CD’s, David was the 2002 MapleBlues New Talent Award winner.

“It has been ages since a youthful spitfire set the harp ablaze. David Rotundo is exactly what the blues needs now”. – Blues Revue.
